panda & i just found our dream jobs - pixar’s facility manager!!

me: babe can you apply to vancouver pixar, preez
panda: as what, a toilet cleaner? i can’t draw!
me: facility manager! aka consultant, your fave!
me: you even get your own receptionist!!
me: fuck, i want to apply now!
panda: babe, you are sooo built for this job. haha, the more i read it…
panda: you know what the best part is…that position gets to create everything from scratch
panda: imagine how much fun i could have making shit efficient…!

we need to apply, pronto:

• Plans, budgets and schedules on-going building modifications and maintenance, including estimates on labor, materials and other related costs
• Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, and facilities expansion, including a large studio build out in the first year
• Coordinates with architects, construction project managers, building management, and local partners to complete all building projects. Provides basic CAD work for small office configurations
• Manages day to day facilities tasks including employee related set up, moves and changes
• Initiates and maintains relationships with vendors and assists in identifying appropriate furniture for the studio
• Sets up and maintains various service contracts as needed
• Coordinates space and logistics for special events
• Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department
• Responsible for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards
